BOTOX

Botox is a protein derivative of the Botulinium toxin.

Botulinium Toxin is a chemical produced by the botulinium bacteria. When the Botox injected into a muscle, the muscle become weakened or inactivated. Botox stops the muscle from functioning by blocking the neuromuscular transmission, it stops the chemical messages from the nerve to the muscle.

Botox is mainly suitable for the top third of the face. Around the eyes and forehead.

The benefitial effects normaly last between three and six months. However repeated treatments can break the following habit to give longer lasting reduced facial lines.

The procedure is very simple and painless. Tiny amounts of Botox are injected directly into certain key facial muscles.

The effect of the muscles will become apparent within
three days while the maximum effect will be reached
around two weeks after.
