HydraFacial available at Brent Practice

HydraFacial is a patented skin treatment available in medical spas and dermatology offices. It’s also sometimes called “hydradermabrasion” because it involves microdermabrasion-like exfoliation paired with hydrating serums. It is a minimally invasive procedure and although some patients report mild discomfort, it is certainly not painful.

HydraFacial is known for its three-step process:
1) Deep-clean
2) Exfoliate
3) Hydrate your skin

This professional procedure may help treat a variety of skin conditions, including acne, dryness, and wrinkles. The beauty of this treatment is that it is suitable for skin of all ages and can be used for different purposes depending on the age and problem areas experienced.

It is a non-invasive, non-laser treatment that can be personalised with serum boosters to address specific skin concerns, leaving you looking and feeling radiant.

Benefits of a HydraFacial

Gentle on the skinThe equipment used on the skin is extremely gentle, helping to get rid of dirt and clogged oil in the pores of the skin with ease.

Hydrates the skinThe HydraFacial leaves your skin feeling moisturised and hydrated, also helping it to appear plump and smooth.

Suited for every skin typeDue to how gentle this treatment is, it is suited to all skin types and any age group. It not only targets the appearance of large pores, pimples and acne scarring in young adults but also helps to treat hyperpigmentation and signs of ageing in older patients.

Customisable treatmentDepending on your skin type, texture, and damage, your skin expert will customise your treatment to suit your skin

The HydraFacial is said to help improve overall skin texture, tone, and appearance. That is due to the deep exfoliation that cleans your pores, removing debris and allowing better penetration of face serums tailored to your skin type.

HydraFacial for acne

Microdermabrasion techniques have been considered effective for treating both acne and acne scars. That is likely due to the deep exfoliation that helps remove pore-clogging skin cells.

HydraFacial for blackheads

Dead skin cells also contribute to blackheads. This noninflammatory type of acne may benefit from the same exfoliating and extracting used in the HydraFacial.

HydraFacial for rosacea

It can be hard to find cosmetic treatments safe enough for this sensitive skin condition. While more research is needed to prove the safety and effectiveness of the HydraFacial for rosacea, a 2006 study revealed that similar techniques might benefit papulopustular rosacea.
